A message of gratitude…

Thanksgiving has always been a great time to reflect. The three hour plane ride to Atlanta to see my incredible family gives me just enough time to tie up loose ends for work and get a little extra perspective on just how lucky I am.

This year, one of my favorite quotes popped into my head: “I am the captain of my fate. I am the master of my soul.” I realized I am incredibly thankful for the amazing brand Media Bombshell has become and the amazing work I’ve been a part of– one where following dreams and helping others do the same has become a way of life. One where we stand behind each other, beside each other and ultimately help each other live up to our potential.

And I came back to the idea I’ve believed since my dear Aunt Cindy passed away 8 years ago– that nothing in this world matters more than relationships. And I’m inviting you to start a new tradition with me– to get your message out to the world in a different way this Thanksgiving.

Here’s how: Pick three people you’re truly thankful for right this second in your life. Write each of them a hand-written note telling them why. Send it snail mail.

To top it off, there’s an incredible effect when you make others feel loved and appreciated. You feel the same, if not more, in return. Give it a try. At some point this long holiday weekend pick up a pen and start writing. Then, come tell me all about it.

xx
