coming clean and feeling free…

So, there’s something I should tell you. For the last month, I’ve been distracted… by this.

I am literally surrounded by packing boxes at the moment, huddled in a little oasis of sanity I’ve created on our dining room table.

We are smack-dab in the middle of moving! It’s a little wild. Our new home is only four blocks away from the old one (yes, we love our funky little neighborhood in the heart of Austin, Texas THAT much) but it’s a whole new world of possibility.

Here’s a photo of us in front of our new home!

our new home!

I hear people say how much they hate moving and I totally get that it’s chaotic and always imperfect, but I have to say, there are also lots of reasons to love it… there’s something so exciting about starting a new chapter in a new space. There’s something so refreshing about the whole evolution. To me, moving is really about coming clean and feeling free to create a life you love in exactly the way you want it.

My 5 keys to making an art out of moving:

1. Fall in love with the process of sifting.

2. Be grateful for the blank slate that is your new home.

3. Appreciate right where you are in your life.

4. Celebrate with friends!

5. Make a list of all the new possibilities in store for you.

One of my new possibilities is the chance to get to be more present here on my blog & with my beloved email list. I’m creating the possibility that I’m going to be bring you even more value even more frequently. I’m creating the possibility that I’ll really get to know each and every one of you and help you create the change you want to see in this world.

One of the ways I’ll be starting to do this is by answering your burning questions. So, I’d love to hear from you. What can I help with? What are the questions you really want to get answered about stepping into your voice, speaking powerfully about your brand, creating videos that captivate or giving media interviews with huge impact? No question is too big or too small… so dish in the comments below!

Meanwhile, my husband and I will be gleefully unpacking with prosecco in hand.
