A Reminder Of What Is Real

Welcome to the the second installment of the Summer Series, bombshell!

In this feature, I’m showcasing videos that I love and why I love them so, right here on the blog. I hope that the stories shared will inspire action within you, as they undoubtedly have for me.

Click play & enjoy!

I keep coming back to this video.

The first time that I watched it I was so surprised by Jim Carrey being serious and by just how deep he could go.

Interestingly, it’s different pieces of the talk that stick with me each time I go back to it. I watch it for perspective, for a reminder on how to relate to an audience, for brilliant use of comedy when talking about deep and big concepts.

I watch it to let go, and to be reminded about what’s real.

It’s 26 minutes, but it’s well worth joining the 8 million other people who have watched it. I’d love to hear your takeaways in the comments below!

P.S. Did you miss the first installment of the Summer Series? Click here to check it out. Inspired by Amy Cuddy we’re talking body posture & taking up more space!

Thank you for sharing that video of the speech by Jim Carrey. I had not watched that before and loved it. Some great messages in his speech, ones that if we keep them close to our heart all of our life, each of us will be successful in our own right. I also didn’t know he painted.
    Cheers,
    LeAnn
